This Crooked Willow Farms wedding is what dreams are made of. Antlers, lace, bangin’ floral design, and my favorite thing ever, a rad couple happy to take all sorts of photos all over this gorgeous venue. What else could I need in life? Not much, my friends.
Katie Jo + Wes were married this past September in one of my favorite mountain wedding venues in Larkspur, Colorado. All of the details + décor were centered around their personalities + interests, as well as the venue itself. The couple chose rustic wedding touches that included cowboy boots, a countryside-inspired color palette of rich orange, light grey and olive green, and delicious BBQ catering.
My favorite memory from this day was the couple’s first dance. There was something so intimate + special seeing them in their little first dance bubble, even though the moment was shared with the couple’s close friends + family. They only had eyes for each other for this three minute chunk of the day, and it was beautiful to be able to witness + document it.
Take a peek below at my favorite frames from Wes + Katie Jo’s Crooked Willow Farms wedding. Thanks for stopping by the blog!

Mini-interview with the bride
What was your favorite part of the wedding day?
“My favorite part was enjoying all the fruits of our labor. It was great to walk out of the bridal suite and see everything we had planned put into action. The decor, the food and drink, everything that went into the event. The blood moon was also pretty special.”
What was your favorite thing to design?
“The floral and antler décor for the pergola!”
If you could give one piece of advice to other couples planning their weddings, what would it be?
“Hire a day-of coordinator!”
